At the turn of the year we founded Asteroid, a next generation consulting company. Our goal is simple: to offer the best customer experience and an inspiring and the fairest workplace for software professionals.

We focus on professional services – holistic development of digital services and applications, as well as technical advisory. We want to be our customers' trusted partner for demanding projects and to build successful digital businesses together.

Asteroid was founded by experienced professionals Mika Tuoma and Eero Kurkela, who have built consulting business in various roles at Reaktor, Nordcloud, and SC5, among others. Asteroid is our answer to what the future of software consulting looks like at its best.

In our view, the best possible customer experience starts with the company's employees and a deep appreciation of human capital. After the company's six-month journey, we already have a team of ten people – with more great future colleagues on their way. Our stellar team and satisfied customers are the best possible validation of our core beliefs and successful start.

The transformation of work has accelerated recently, and the Great Resignation didn’t happen without a reason. Nurturing commitment requires a feeling of togetherness, appreciation, and purpose.
