This week marks Asteroid the first million Euros worth of digital development services delivered, in under a year in operation.

Web and mobile applications for a better travel experience
We helped a transportation company launch new products and services via their web and mobile applications, and free up customer service time from routine tasks to where it counts.
Making the impact on the business and end customer experience measurable was an important goal. Everyone was also happy to see how the metrics rocketed as the end customers' journeys became more enjoyable than ever.
Under the hood, we worked with technologies including React, React Native, Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and AWS. Given the increasing importance of the applications, we also drove improvement to the respective cloud automation and security aspects.
Technical due diligence for a payment application
A payment services provider was in need of independent technical due diligence as part of a strategic business acquisition. We focused on a mobile application where it was critical to understand its quality and future development potential, as well as aspects such as technical debt, maintainability, development practices as they stood, external dependencies, licensing, and security.
Asteroid reviewed the application using our well-established methodology in close collaboration with relevant business and technical stakeholders. Based on the presented findings, the customer was able to make informed decisions about moving forward with the acquisition. They also received a technical proof-of-concept that answered an important question related to integration.
Under the hood, we were mostly working with Flutter, Dart, web technologies, a kit of static analysis tooling, and connecting the dots between business needs and matching technical design and practices.
